To provide manufacturers with a marking permanently anchored in the aluminum, the Group masters the screen printing and printing on oxidized aluminum.
Sulfuric anodic oxidation (SAO) marking is a technique combining chemical surface treatment and screen printing.
The aluminum undergoes an electrolytic process leading to the opening of pores on the surface to a depth of a few microns.
Two possibilities then exist: Complete coloring of the piece by dipping it in a bath. Selective printing by screen printing. In both cases, the color penetrates the pores of the material.
A sealing step allows a layer of alumina to be formed on the surface, thus trapping the ink in the material.

Whether exposed to bad weather, high temperatures or chemicals, this marking does not deteriorate. It ensures perfect readability, even after several decades of use. In addition, the sealed anodic oxidation strengthens the hardness of the metal, and therefore its resistance to mechanical or oxidative attacks.
This marking is suitable for a wide variety of industries, such as:
where resistance to harsh environments is essential
for fine and detailed engravings on technical parts
which requires clear, durable and unalterable markings to resist surface disinfection products.
Anodic oxidation marking at the Sertip Group offers exceptional technical performance:
This marking is resistant to UV rays, corrosion and high temperatures, guaranteeing perfect stability over time.
Unlike other types of marking that can fade, anodic oxidation retains its integrity for decades. Accelerated aging tests carried out in accredited laboratories prove this durability of the marking.
