The industrial front face

User Interface: Optimize your devices with custom front panels

The industrial front end plays a crucial role in the ergonomics, aesthetic and the functionality of your equipment. It is much more than just protection: it is the interface between the user and the device, facilitating interaction while conveying the brand image. Whether for the sector medical, the security, electronic or the industry, our front panels meet the most demanding technical constraints and are custom-designed to perfectly adapt to your specifications.

Front faces and their applications

The Sertip Group offers front panels adapted to various uses, according to the technical specifications and aesthetic needs of each project:

Plastic front panel (or faceplate)

Made of polycarbonate, polyester, or polyurethane, it is lightweight and perfectly suited to user interfaces thanks to its high resistance to scratches and chemicals.

Front panel for intercom

A specially dedicated range, integrating opening and perforation options for microphones, speakers, and communication systems.

Soft front face

A flexible solution, particularly recommended for applications requiring good adhesion without loss of flexibility.

Rigid front face

Designed for harsh industrial environments, this option is optimal for devices requiring a solid structure.

Materials used and advantages

Our front panels are available in several materials, each with specific characteristics and advantages to meet diverse needs:

Aluminium

Known for its durability, aluminum lends itself well to surface treatments, such as anodizing or brushing, guaranteeing an aesthetic and resistant finish.

Stainless steel

The material of choice for corrosive environments, stainless steel offers great resistance to oxidizing environments and guarantees unfailing durability.

Polycarbonate et polyester

These plastic materials, often printed from the back, are highly resistant to impact, UV, and chemicals, making them ideal for demanding environments while offering low thickness.

Plexiglass, Makrolon, Dibond

Each offering specific characteristics (transparency, rigidity), they can be used for front faces requiring excellent resistance or a unique appearance.

Surface finishes and treatments

To ensure the durability of the plates and their visual integrity, several finishing and surface treatment options are available:

Customizing designs

Because each piece of equipment is unique, we offer customization services to adapt the front panels to the functional needs of each project:

  • Cutouts and perforations: precision cutting options allowing you to integrate LEDs, displays, buttons, or other components according to your requirements.
  • Transparent areas and windows: For interfaces requiring visible or backlit elements, we integrate transparent or anti-reflective windows that are UV and scratch resistant.
  • Reliefs and inserts: thanks to embossing and embossing techniques, we can add raised touches or integrate inserts for buttons, dials or indicator lights.

Robustness and resistance

Our front panels are designed to withstand the most demanding environments. The materials and finishes used allow for a high resistance to varied conditions:

  • Extreme temperatures: thanks to the choice of suitable materials and finishes, our front panels maintain their integrity, even in the presence of significant temperature variations.
  • Corrosion and scratches: surface treatments and specific coatings, such as anodizing or protective varnishes, guarantee excellent resistance to corrosion and scratches.
  • UV and chemical resistance: Polycarbonate and polyester fronts, especially those printed on the back, perform particularly well in environments exposed to UV rays or chemicals.
